New... 94 LT1 to 2000 3.8 firebird Hi i just started doing this project about 2 days ago and i have a complete LT1 donor car LS1 is too expensive an i got this car with everything dirt cheap and heard it run.was in a accident(bent frame). My main thing that I'm not finding on any forums, is the lt1 wire harness isn't going to connect to the adapters that the 3.8 came out of by the passenger side battery. the question is ...is their an adapter that i can buy that will be plug and play? and if not what is the easiest way to covert them? rewiring, moving the fuse box out of the lt1 and connecting them separate or ???
I'm dropping the engine and trans from the bottom like the video on YouTube "lt1 drop guide" and rolling it to my 2000 3.8 and i can deal with the spedo separate. I'm just trying to figure out that 1 wiring part.
does anyone have any info on companies that may make this adapter if there's a such animal? lol thx
