Swapping into a 1972 GMC C15 fleetside..Hiyo!
Just dove into the LS building world and bought an 2005 LM7 5.3l out a a Sierra. Also acquired the harness, computer, plus the pedal/TAC module. Looking for a 4l60e stock, to be beefed up later in preface to boost.
Also have a 2002 Fbody tank/pump/regulator setup. Still wondering about working this into the returnless 2005 truck intake and fuel rails and with the 2003 computer. You'll for sure see me digging for and asking about this part of the setup...fuel plumbing and powering the pump correctly.
Current plans are:
-Cam/springs/p-rods
-New head gaskets etc.. up top
-Drop the 5.3l in the truck
-Stock or mild rebuilt 4l60
-New Fuel Pump
-Hopefully make the 2002 Camaro Tank/Pump/Reg setup function
-Standalone harness reworked from stock
-Flashed/Tuned ECU for new parts
-Install new gauges
Future plans:
-Build trans up for 500+whp
-Single turbo kit w/IC
-Injectors (E85 capable volume)
-Probably bigger or another fuel pump
-LSD maybe new rear end & axles
-Suspension
See ya around!

I would go S-10 blazer tank, as I read on here that it fits well in between bumper & rear end. Bonus its out of cab. Lt1Swap.com on wiring. If leaving pcm on driver fenderwell I would wire in a small fuse panel from another car with a cover lid. I did it on my squarebody truck a 95-05 cavalier fuse box. Its pretty easy to reconfigure it as well. Getting motor tranny in is easy enough. Good luck with it.
