Firehawk owner
Hello-
I recently purchased a 99 firehawk m6. Was pretty well hashed by the previous owner, so I am nursing her back to health. I am new to the Ls(and v8 for that matter) scene.
So far I have put new seats in it(old ones were broken), just ebay cheapies. Tomorrow i will be putting some KYB struts/shocks, and stock springs in it. It has longtube pacesetters that were bottoming out everywhere due to the moronic suspension setup the previous owner had(cut springs and worn out shocks).
First step for me is getting it running good. Thats going to include replacing headlights, the cracked windshield, etc. Then i want to start dropping cash into the motor. I have the money available, just need to learn how to spend it. I know the factory 10 bolt rear is weak, so i will most likely be purchasing a moser 9" with some 4:10s.
Happy to be hear, ready to learn.
