Default LS3 cam swap, lift limit?

Hey everyone, glad to be on this forum.
I have the 1st ever Callaway Camaro, 2010 SS/RS.
I love the performance and handling, but discovered that it still has the stock camshaft & exhaust manifolds.
Winter project: install ZR1 camshaft and long tube headers.
then tune & dyno
Found cam, intake lift 0.562" and according to the GM perf catalog, the LS3 head is designed for max lift of 0.550"!!
So far no one can tell me if the issue is spring bind, or maybe the rocker arm pedestal stop area??? I'm trying to do this on a budget, so don't want a huge spring package upgrade unless that is the issue. I can machine the rocker arm stops if needed.
Thanks again, Howard

Stock LS3 valve springs = .550" lift limit.

Proposed new cam = .562" lift.

You're a smart guy.......

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks.
I was thinking of using the ZR1 "Beehive" valve springs. Do you know if they use a different retainer?
Thanks again, Howard
