Default Noob with 2000 WS6 some bolt ons..

howdy guys and girls!
just pulled my ws6 out of 5 years of storage... 86k .... and it's tuned up and i am taking it to the dragstrip this weekend.. very excited.

why's it been in storage??.. 5 kids, self employed, and 2 moves later..

anyhow, have never ran this car at the track so i am excited to see what it will do.

here's the list of "mods":
stock engine and cam, 2002 LS6 intake, 1 3/4" LT no-name stainless headers, ORY, stainless borla exhaust, super firm shift kit in stock 4l60e trans (stock stall), 3.73 posi in a stock 10 bolt with stock axles, ported mafs and TV, suncoast ramair hood and air filter, tubular LCA's, fresh NT05r's DR's, and a mail order tune from 10 years ago. The car weighs 3760 with the driver.

WHAT WILL IT RUN??

Ideally you should be able to go at least low 12s.
Throw an aftermarket stall in there and you will really see a difference.

I will guess high 12s, possible low 13 - first time running the car, anything in the 12s will be a good accomplishment.

Lots of factors that are unknown like track prep, DA at you local track etc. Just go out, have fun and don't worry about reaction time at all. Focus on launching the car until you get the most you can out of your current setup without blowing the tires off.

It ran a best of ET 13.03 with a 1.998 60 foot.
Not quite the 12's I wanted but not too bad.
First run 13.17 while spinning off the line (I tried a dry burnout first, which didn't Heat the tires enough).
Then 13.11, 13.10..
Then last run of 13.03.
Incidentally, I broke my stock posi unit on the last run and now its a one legger.
Time to figure out what to do about a rear axle assy that will last.
I think it also needs a good dyno tune, as I am getting some backfires in the exh during deceleration-- so I'm thinking it's running rich.
What's the cheapest way to get a bolt in 8.8, or 9", or 12 bolt rear axle?
