5.3L

hey all i am new to using forums and i have decided to build a 5.3L. I would like to make 500 hp without boost or nos. there is no budget and i want to put the best of everything in it, starting at the crankshaft and up. what is the list of mods i need? i will bore the engine but i don't know how big to go b4 my cylinder sleeves are to thin. plz help i would like to start asap

I remember reading about a guy who almost made 500 rwhp (like 499) with his NA 5.3 liter, but I can't find that post. Do a search for it and you should find your answers. Maybe someone else can chime in with more info.
