Hi,
I've been lurking on this board on and off for a few years now. I've been in the old car hobby for about thirty years, mainly owning early second gen Firebirds.
About seven or eight years ago, I picked up a SOM 2002 WS6 6-spd T/A convertible with 20K original miles. It is bone stock and always garaged. It now has about 24K original miles, and is in excellent condition.
I've been looking at CTS-Vs for a couple of years now. I have a degenerated hip, and the buckets in the 2002 are not very comfortable for anything more than a short drive. I've considered selling my 2002 and buying a low mileage V. I prefer a normally aspirated car, so I'm mostly looking at the 06 - 07 cars.
Here is a photo from the day I bought it. It was a little dirty, it had just made a 5 hr road trip and it was close to dark.
Mike
