Newb from central MN 67 Skylark
Hey there, new to the clan, not new to cars. Been a mechanic for many years but I'm done with that so I actually enjoy working on cars again.
I've got a 67 Skylark 2 door hard top that I am trying to make plans for the next few years as to what it's going to be getting for work.
Plans: Mini tubs, 12bolt or 9" rear, 4 wheel disc, turbo 5.3 and potentially a 6l80 (depending on trans tunnel changes)
It's a decent car but far from perfect. A great car to drive and modify IMO
I'd add a photo but I don't understand this mac piece of garbage and can't get a photo from my phone to my macbook, I'll get on my phone later to add a photo.
I'm not new to playing around with cars, had a Bronco in highschool with a built 351W, a couple years later I built a high compression s/c 3.8 for my grand prix that made 300 whp, and a couple years later I added some toys to my 01 cummins to give it some go fast juice.
I also have a 75 Beetle convertible in pieces that is slowly being assembled. More on that later if you want to know
