New member from Chicago Been lurking on here for awhile but haven't signed up until now. First car was a 3rd gen z when I was 16 and from there I jumped to 4cyl turbo cars.. Why idk lol. I've recently bought a 97 z28 roller from a friend that I will be building from the ground up. My plans so far are mwc fab9" rear, lq4 with s480 turbo. Moving into my first house in 3 weeks then the fun really begins. I'm gonna strip the car completely, clean it and paint underneath/ re Verify there's just one tiny rust spot, cars clean from what I saw. Then I'm gonna get it rolling and stopping ( doing a manual brake setup) and then start building the lq4 I have. Glad to be apart of the group and learn a lot as I already have from lurking for months!
