My name is Zach. I live in Plymouth Indiana and own a turbo shop in Grovertown where we remanufacture and build custom stuff.


I come from the diesel world. I just bought my first gas vehicle ever two weeks ago. 01 chevy 1500 with a 5.3. I recently sold my toy diesel truck and am venturing into a turbo 4.8 project truck. The truck I sold was a single cab shortbed 2wd 5.9 12 valve. Mild truck. Had a built trans, billet 67mm turbo and some mild injectors.


Project I am currently pursuing is a single cab shortbed S10 with a turbo 4.8 in it. Plans are a narrowed 8.8, mildly home-built TH400, 4.8 with a 75mm billet borg warner, and of the course the other necessary misc parts needed to make it all happy.


Hopefully picking up the truck, trans, rear, and engine throughout this week to get started on it. I am sure I will have a few questions along the way so I figured I would join up and share the build and get some input.
