Default New Guy from Texas

Hey guys, learned of this site from a fellow Chevy enthusiast at a car show. I have a 54 chevy sedan I would like to put an LS in as a daily driver. So hopefully I will be able to learn from you all.

I have been doing searches with no luck finding previous builds in the 49-54 chevy category. Can anyone help point me to any existing threads before I start posting one?

I have seen several on here but don't remember who they are. What parts of swap you really need help with? If you have sbc already it should be little easier to get you mounted in there.

Thanks for the welcome! I am new to injection in general. I did the guy who suggested the site(leadfoot85) had a post on his chevy build. My main concerns first are- will i need to modify the firewall or tunnel. From there it goes to- how many wires does it take to actually run the LS. I have been told to get a harness then cut out the wires not needed. I have no clue on what is needed. Any direction on where to go to find the info to read up on would be greatly appreciated!!
