First LS Project Hello Ls1Tech
I am Nick from Indiana
I have started in to my first venture in LS platforms. I have spent many years doing turbo Subaru work and and finally decided to come to the V8 side of things.
My first project is a swap in a E36.
Here is the candidate.
I have picked up a complete 5.3l and plan to do a turbo build.
So far I have pulled the motor down to do a complete freshness up.
Still deciding on the build list at this point.
I'm sure it will change a few dozen times before its complete.
Parts already sourced at this point.
5.3 LM7 Complete
Built 4L60e
E36 LS motor mounts.
Some random fuel system parts, turbo stuff, and gauges from past builds.
I have a spare E36 parts car for random parts that I want to reinforce and modify.
Goal is a fun streetable car.
The trans and rear end will max around 600hp so somewhere just short of that...
Ill be snooping around trying to gather as much info about the LS engines as I can.
