New CTS-V v1 owner in PA...
Hello everyone. I just picked up a 2005 CTS-V for a great price and I have fallen in love with it. I absolutely love manual transmissions and combined with an ls6 it makes it like a drug. My car has very high miles at 225,000 but it's in great shape. It's a slick top with no sunroof which I prefer as I am tall. It's black with gray guts and the only mods I have are K&N CAI, Creative Steel motor mounts and muffler delete. I have replaced the alternator (twice actually since I tried to put a rebuilt parts store one on and it caused the battery light to stay on so I swapped it for an ACDelco), a water pump and all the coolant hoses. I daily drive it and get it sideways pretty much every day. I also have a 1987 Grand National so I currently have a small stable of black American muscle. Thanks in advance for any help any of you may give me in the future.
