Default New lt1 guy

Hey hows it going, I just purchased my first f-body, a 97 lt1 camaro.. I plan on adding clear turn signals and side markers, blacking the tail lights, and black camaro inserts on the back.. also lowering it for sure but maybe bigger/different wheels.. tell me what you think input is welcome thanks!

Welcome dude, clean car. And honestly the only appearance mod I would do is get rid of the tails for the 93 to 96 ones, then you can start modding. Good Luck

Looks like you got a solid car there. Welcome to LT1 land. You need to come out to the LTx Shootout in April. You can check it out here LTX SHOOTOUT There are classes for everything from bone stock to 8 sec. outlaws.

A very easy and nice appearance upgrade I would recommend is some black decals for the rear camaro lettering, $7 bucks on ebay. If you have any questions about blacking the tails feel free to PM me. Very nice looking car!!!

Beautiful car! That interior looks mint...how many miles are on it? Congrats...you have now entered the aggravating world of LT1's lmao...naw man they are fun cars. Good luck with the mods. First mods should be intake and full exhaust cause they are so restricted on the exhaust side.

Yeah I already got hooked up with a free catback from a friend and will probably be ordering LT's in the next week or two, i'm moving this week so its going to be kinda crazy so it may take a while.. thanks for the comments guys, and it has 90k miles

One thing I want to get soon is a short shifter, I'm not used to having such a long throw haha.

Cool man...but just to warn you...putting on LT's in an LT1 is a bitch
But the power difference will feel amazing. Go with the Pacesetter coated LT's...great price and they look great. That mileage isn't bad at all though. You oughta seafoam her ASAP!
