Thought I'd introduce myself. Just dropped an LS6/T56 combo in my 68 mustang. After weeks of patiently waiting for the last few parts to finish, I finally made my maiden voyage. This thing is awesome. I was taking it relatively easy and then I got the itch to “tap” the pedal from a dead stop. Perfect launch- the car hooked with very, very little wheel spin, my neck snapped back as I smiled and hit second. And that’s when it happened. Like someone slammed my rearend with a sledgehammer. I now know how weak a ford 8” is… All I can say is that it was the best 21 minutes of my life. Glad to be here.

thats a nice combo!!! i always contemplated the idea of dropping an ls1 in my mustang! but it turned out to be easier just to get the camaro-t/a! happy moddin and welcome to the forums
