Talking another new guy with questions

Hello all, Im from wisconsin, and love this site. So far it has answered alot of my questions just from doing searches. Right now I am building a car for my Dad, he sold his street rod last fall, and now I am setting him up with a ls1 powered buick skylark. Things are going well, been doing a ton of fab work on it. Would like to have it on the road for power tour, even if the paint work isnt done.
My car is a 66 nova ss with a bbc, 6 speed from a 95 vette, air ride, and 18 x 12 wheels in the back and 17 x 7's in front. It is mostly done, but the car needs all the paint work redone. I had it on power tour last year and had a blast. I wanted to drop a ls motor in it, but everything is built around the bbc in it now, and cant see changing it. The motor is in by my engine builder now getting a freshening "up", but will have it on the road for power tour again, even if it isnt the best looking. Looking forward to seeing some of you on the tour this year!

Rears have 4.5" of backspacing, so I think the shinny sid is about 6" or so. PITA to polsh!
