Default new kid here to learn!

hey i am new to the LS world, but not to engines and all that good stuff. right now i have a 1984 buick regal with a healthy small block in it, and i 1962 impala ss that i am hunting down the original 409 for. I joined up to learn as much as possible about the ls series engines, and this seems like a good place to do so. I am planning on buying a camaro soon, but it is a pain to find here in wisconsin and even harder to find one without t tops! thanks.

Welcome to the forum...how old are you?

Why would you want a car without t-tops?

Welcome, with a LS1 you won't need a 409, good luck with your search.

i just turned 18, and i have been blessed with some good high paying summer jobs, which is good to feed my addiction to fast cars. the impala was my dad, who passed away when i was 2, and that car was a engine *****, 4 big blocks and 5 small blocks. ever since i saw this video, http://http://videos.streetfire.net/...-sto_83098.htm

i know it is a lt1, but the f body are just so cool.

i don't really know why i do not like them. all i think about is some guy from the 80's with big hair and a lime green shirt with the collar popped cruzing around with the t tops off. i am not really ruling them out, if i find something really nice and clean, i would buy it.

I've got them and could care less. Hardly ever take them off and wish I had a hard top.
