new from PA hello all! im new to the site, but not fbody's! used to have an 88 Trans Am GTA, and after getting rid of it for a year to leave for the army, just had to get another one! after months of searching, ive finally found a 00 Firehawk near my duty station in Ft Myer, VA! love the car, and ive already started tearing into it with magnaflow exhaust and SPEC stage 3+ clutch! plan to rebuild and reinforce the drivetrain/suspension for the summer and next spring considering pulling the motor for an LS2 short block and procharger. Definitely open for advice and ideas! thanks again for such an awesome site!

Sounds awsome man. I drive the Navy blue Camaro with TT2's on post. Well, I will be driving it again in a few weeks after it gets out of the shop and I get new registration for it. Nice to see another f-body on Myer, too many damn stangs and sti's. Your's is the black ta in the summerall parking lot?

wow its good to see so many guys in the PA area with fbody's! i was starting to wonder if i was all alone! ive been looking for a track to take the car too, im curious to see what it runs when close to stock. any one know of any? either in PA or VA area, or anywhere within (reasonable) driving distance (haha i commute between ft myer and PA every weekend!). Ive been looking at the East Coast Fbody nationals at island dragway in NJ and was curious if anyone was going? (convoy anyone??? 
)wilkenstein, yeah thats my hawk in the summerall lot, its back home this week tho to have the clutch installed 
. ha and yea, its pretty disgusting the number of f*rds and what not that are on post!!!

yeah my roommate mentioned MIR and i stumbled across capitols website. have you been to either one of them? and yeah, Whitehall is next to Allentown. Ive heard people talk about maple grove but was never really sure where exactly it was. and as for Cecil, Ive never even heard of that one.

thanks guys, sounds like im prolly gonna be headed up to capitol raceway and island drag way first, they're most convenient for me. anybody been up to either one before or want to go up sometime?
