Default Newby and also from NC

I use to live in Harrisburg,NC but just recently moved away fromthe race track done to Rae Road in Marvin,NC. I currently have a 07 Tundra 5.7, few moods.

I have been doing some research and patiently waiting on what car I want to purchase next. It has been between a Mustang Cobra and WS6 T/A. I drove a 01 T/A WS6 4A not to long ago with a 5.7 I believe, and loved it from the moment I put my foot on the gas. So Ive decided to starting find out more about these sweet muscle cars.

Whats the difference in just a T/A and a WS6. I guess that will get the ball rolling and as I find out more I will ask different questions. I am in the market to buy one, but from looking at the classifieds, it looks as if I at least need to come to the table with 11K for a quality car. So now im just saving up.

Thanks,
Mack

Welcome to the forums!

If I were you I would just get the T/A. There is not much difference between them. It would save you some money as well.

Kinda like the same thing between the Z28 and the SS.

If I was looking at buying a T/A you gotta go with the WS6....just looks badass with the hood!! Like stated above, not much difference in T/A and WS6 performance wise, but exterior....WS6 all the way.

Jacksonville here. I would go with the WS6 since it is what you want. Just take your time and choose one you really want.

Welcome

Trust me I love Harrisburg, its a grown town. My parents wanted to move closer to work.

Everyone else thank you for the advice. If you know of a T/A M6 locally or within in NC please let me know. Does both the T/A and WS6 have a 5.7 or does the WS6 have a 6.0?

Welcome! I grew up in Rodanthe,NC(Outer Banks), but currently going to school out in OKC, OK. Actually, I will be visiting family here soon. NC is a great state.

T/A, WS6, and Formula all have the same engine(5.7L ls1). Basically, they are just upgrades from one to another. Formula is the lowest level, and the WS6 is the upper level. Just get what you want.

OK, thanks for the insight. I definately dont want to just settle for something, though I might have to wait a little longer to get what I want. It will defiantely be time well spent.

Thanks
