Default First Car

I recently turned 16 and my parents were kind of enough to buy me a car. Just like everyone else in my family has had for their first car I got a 1998 firebird. It's no v8 but I still really like it. I was kind of confused as how to the 85 year old who owned it previously described it, he said it was a 98 with 99 body styling and it was a formula? I don't know if the dealer just told him that or are there truly formulas with v6's? Anyways he lived down a gravel road so it's not in the greatest shape but I'm going to start getting to work on it.

Crappy cell phone pic

No such thing as a V6 Formula.

That looks to be a W68 (an appearance package) Firebird.

Yeah, as far as I know the 98 through 2002 had the same body styling. Maby the apearance package is from 99...not sure. There is also no v6 formulas. Nice car though, I wish I had that nice of a car when I was 16. I had a 1968 289 Mustang, that I was under the hood every other day. lol, loved the thing though, taught me alot. I hope you have a good time with this car, it's nice. Also, be careful, the more you take care of it, and the less stupid **** you do with it, the more you will apreciate it in about 6 years!

Wasn't sure what section to put this in quite yet so I'll just ask it here; I'm probably getting corsa clone tips for my exhaust. I was also thinking about getting a new muffler and keeping my current exhaust setup because I really don't want to spend all that money to get it changed, In you guys opinion what would be the best sounding muffler for me keeping in mind that I have a v6 bird.
