Smile Is the Price Right?

First post on LS1tech.
Found a 1998 Camaro Z28 on Craigslist. Just went and checked it out. Has 84,000 miles on it. All black. Paint has a few typical GM blems but nothing major. Car seems to be all stock. The lady who owns it is 65 and has owned the car her entire life. I don't think she has been doing too many burnouts if you know what I mean. The only major flaw I can see is that there is the typical hole in the leather drivers seat just as your *** rubs when you climb in. She's also a smoker. Tires have at least 50% tread left. She went to go trade it in but they only offered her $5,000. So she's trying private party for $6,500. Is offering $6,000 a fair deal???? What else do you look for when buying a used LS1?

I'd say $6000 is a fair price if the paint is clean and it has been maintained. I'd never buy a smoker's car, but if you can deal with it, then go for it.

A4 or M6?

Either way it's a pretty good deal.
