Newbie from Kingsburg, Ca. I posted several weeks ago that I am in the process of installing a 5.3 from a 2007 Silverado 4 door into a 1948 Chevy 5 window pickup. The engine and transmission has less than 10,000 miles. I justed completed mounting the engine this past weekend.
Prior to working on my 48 pickup I did my second frame off on my 1957 Nomad This time I used a GMPP ZZ 383 and a Hughs preped 700R4, Curie 9 inch.
