Hey welcome to the site and nice car...I've been to Australia a few times myself, my brother lives on the Gold Coast. Matter of fact heading there in Feb for 3 weeks. I know Aussies love their cars, the rivalry between Holden(GM) and Ford is pretty big down there. My brother drives a souped up Ford Ute (been trying to talk sense to him but he doesn't listen). Anyway welcome and Cheers.

Holdens are big, and so are the 1uz-fe V8 motor swaps too... LSx swaps tend to be very pricey in Aussie land..

I only had the cam installed just over a week ago. I had a run at the drags, but my stock clutch slipped badly in 2nd and 3rd then refused to give me 4th! I will be fitting a better clutch soon, then I expect mid to low 12's on street tyres.

That is true, but now the cost of our older LS1 cars has dropped, there is starting to be alot more done.

Nice ride! I've always considered just buying one of those cars and having it shipped down up here. Would be interesting to see an RHD holden in the states! I know I have yet to see one.
