Default Soft brakes on first push

So I am having a problem with the brakes on my 2000 Camaro SS.

The first push of the brake pedal with the car on has little pressure, the brake pedal will go all the way to the floor. If I let off and immediately pump it I have solid pedal feel. If I drive for another 30 seconds and use the brakes again.. same symptom. It goes to the floor on the first push, second and third pushes feel solid and stop the car like it should.

I have bled all 4 corners 3 times now, any ideas on what it could be?

how are you bleeding? partner? solo bleeders?
Are you tapping the calipers hard with your hand or a wrench to get any trapped air out of there?

I had a similar problem (pedal went about halfway), used some ate superblue 5.1 fluid and a motive pressure bleeder, brakes feel awesome now!

To me it sounds like air in the system. Brake fluid doesn't compress, but air does.

Could this be a severe case of pad knock back? Even if say, I only drove 15 feet in the driveway and it's back to the same way?

Definitely air in the system. Might want to consider checking all your brake lines too. Make sure there are small nicks in the line.
