Hey guys I just picked up a 00 A4 C5 with 47k miles at an auction for $5300. The car was hit pretty hard in the front(doesn't look as bad in person). This isn't the first time by far that we've pieced a car together but this thing is a bit more confusing. Having problems finding/or just identifying everything behind the front bumper until the motor lol.
Theirs that weird big plastic rectangular dam thing and everything around that that I have no clue what it's called. Sits in front of the radiator from what I recall(perhaps behind idk lol). If anyone could tell me what that's called/where to buy that. Actually would anyone happen to have a picture of a C5 front end without a front bumper?
Already got quoted $1100 for labor without paint(LOL I know) just need to get these front end parts and have her done fairly quickly.

Wow, that thing looks absolutely totalled. I'd say everything in front of the doors is needed.

It looks better in person honestly. Suspension is good, the motor itself is good. Getting the body panels/bumper reinforcement is easy. It's just everything having to do with the radiator that is throwing me for a loop.

Don't want to sound like a dick but if you don't have anything helping my original post I'd rather not have you say anything. You're acting like we didn't see the car when we bought it. It is not beyond repair, most people's perception of body repairs is terribly skewed.
Just need to find the radiator+support+random pieces around that pretty much have everything else now.
Good luck with the project. This vararam "how-to" should give you a better idea of everything inbetween the bumper and the engine: http://www.cajundude.com/vararam.htm

Wow thanks for the pics. I was also able to pick up a diagram from the Chevy parts dealership so I know pretty much what I have to get now.
scramblerman wow those rails are bent like hell. Got the whole front end apart and mines is nowhere near that bad. Driver side rail is a bit bent but everything else is pretty straight.

good deal dude. I got mine wrecked but in the back and ALOT lighter than that:) BUt that's for sure fixable. People think that car is only good for parts but if you know what your doing, it could be as good as new:) with a couple extra welds:D Also the bags may be tough to find but you can try www.car-parts.com I don't know if it's against the rules to post that because there are no sponsors i know of that carry corvette parts like that. search for a whole set WITH the sensors:D

The car is a mess but that was also a decent price for it...that's normally a $25k+ car in good/running shape.
