Default CAI "popping"

Recently installed CAI, inc. CAI on my '08 GXP. When I turn the car off I can hear a "pop" coming from the intake. Is that normal?

When I had my '03 Monte 3.8L, the intake would "burp" after I turned the car off, which I read was normal, but this is a "pop" sound, almost like a backfire.

I liked the CAI sound in my 3800 better. The engine was quieter so you could hear the wheezing noise better. When you started the car on a cold morning it sounded like a damn shop vac.
