Default Does anyone know what would cause my car to grind under load?

Just wondering if this would be more of a suspension issue or a gear/axle issue. Grinding for a little while under heavy load. IE launching or hammering down on throttle. Thanks!

It could be your dust shields rubbing on the rotors or the parking brake shoes rubbing on the rotors.

If it is in the driveline of the car it is bound to be a bearing somewhere, transmission carrier, tailshaft out put, rearend pinion bearing...You are gonna have to get under there and inspect some things to pinpoint it maybe pull the driveshaft and spin some things by hand looking for rough feeling bearing.
