Default MA Audio MA65-B 6.5" Mid-woofer ?

Does the MA Audio MA65-B 6.5" Mid-woofer need any holes drilled in the sail area to mount?

Does the factory harness connect directly to it or does it need to be spliced etc . . ?

I'm choosing between this or oem (blown drivers side driver)

Check out the Audiopipe subs I just got back in stock. Those would be be better suited for your sail panels. Plus they are the same price as the MA Audios. I just did a couple of videos of them here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-stereo-electronics/1001952-bazooka-vs-audiopipe-6-5-dual-voice-coil-subwoofer-comparison.html
I was waiting to get more of the Audiopipe subs in stock and I just received them. I will add them to the website this evening.
As far as installation you reuse the stock connector off your stock speaker and reuse it on the new one so you can just plug it directly into the stock harness. Easy!!

I'll take a look.

Will either the audiopipe or the MA's require drilling in the sail panel ?
