Thermostat question??
How in the hell do you change the thermostat on these LS4s!?!?
It seems that you would have to take off the manifold heat sheild?! Its Such a tight space! Do you unhook the thermostat from under or over the car?!?!
Help me please!!!

why are you changing the t-stat?? the stock is already a 187* t-stat... so goin down to a 180 one won't do anything for ya... and goin down to a 160 is gonna make your fans run all the time cuz it will constantly be open and flowing coolant, and never get that cool anyway...
I'd just keep the stock t-stat and just adjust the fan settings in a tune... that's what I did... my ECT doesn't get above 194* now...
and our engines like it a little warmer anyway...

same thing here listen to us. Save ur time and money for a better mod.
