Default Vengeance Racing/TrickFlow/Nitrous Outlet=145mph Traps in M6 C5!!!!

I posted initial dyno results a few weeks back on this combo, but I thought a few time slips might add to the validity

Our customer decided to hit the LSX shootout with his new combo this past weekend.

For those who dont know:

C5 Z06 M6
Vengeance Racing L92 427
TrickFlow 235cc CNC Cylinder Heads
Vengeance Racing Custom Nitrous Camshaft
FAST 92mm Intake Ported by Vengeance
All Bolt ons
Nitrous Outlet 90mm Plate Kit/FJO Progressive/860 Warmer
RPM Level V MN6/Stage II Diff/1000 HP CV Shafts
Textralia ExoSkel Clutch.

Combo made 738/810 on a 200 hit....

This past weekend the owner, with only 13 passes in his entire life (all of them being in this car) made some shakedown runs @ the Shootout...

He made 8 passes thru the weekend and trapped from 143 to 145 everytime.

An NMCA official pulled him aside and gave him the sheet below. He seemed pretty impressed with the times considering the owner (Keith Berry)was SHIFTING gears

Congrats to Keith for some OUTSTANDING passes while still getting used to his combo....

Forgot to mention... 26" ET Streets!!!! Going out Tuesday with some 28"s to see if we can get that horrible 60ft down!!!

Big thanx to TrickFlow/Nitrous Outlet/RPM/Textralia!!!!! These guys all offer TOP NOTCH products AND customer service!!!!

I would personally try Hoosier QTP's. Sidewalls are a little softer and they will be a little more forgiving.

It's a very straightforward build, I'd rock it.

Goin out Tuesday on some 28s... Driver needs more seat time and the car needs more tire... Im hoping we can get in the mid 1.50s... That would put us well into the 9s grabbing gears!!!

Thanx for the compliments guys.

145 mph is pretty good, but isn’t this the same car that is getting drilled in the TSP 346 H/C video.

He got worked on the launch and r/t. That camaro was getting worked on the big end of the track. I think we can all see the potential the vette is capable of with its mph

Yeah thats the car in question. I'm the owner and driver. Drilled? Not hardly. He red lighted at -.029. Mine was just as bad if not worse at .375

He ran a 9.829 @ 134.43
Mine was a 10.112 @ 143.25

Thanks. Manual vs Automatic is Apples to Oranges. This car is getting an automatic this winter but before that happens I'm going to bust 9's in the ***. I'll post a video with time slip.

All that being said, If I was running a automatic or if he was running a manual the outcome would be much different.

LMFAO!!! Awesome comparison.... A 2840lb GUTTED DRAG car with FULL suspension/Slicks/Stalled A3 Vs a 3450lb C5 M6 STREET car on lil 26"ET Streets... This wasnt about who won what, it was about 145mph traps on a daily driven setup Thanx for posting up though

LOL there is a huge difference in the vehicle weights, the Vette would run 152 mph at that lower raceweight.

Maybe. I'm going for 150mph and 9.??? before I have Vengeance put in an automatic. This car is still a street car. Factory seats, radio, AC, etc....plus rollcage and 2 bottles of nitrous.

Thanks Dude. Big Thanks to Vengeance Racing. Like Ron said I'm new to the drag racing world but I'm not done by far. It's way to much fun.

Thanks Ray. All the praise should go to all the people/vendors involved on the build. The car has more in it. I just need more seat time to get it out of it. We got some testing to do next Tuesday after Vengeance completes a couple of mods this week. I'm hoping for the 9's but who knows. It's not as easy as I thought it would be to get there. It's as fun as it is hard trying to reach that goal.
