I'd like to hear how much power your getting out your 383. if you can also include your set up id appreachiate as well as race weight. I'm pretty much looking around to see what kind of cranks,pistons,rods ect. are being used.

Eagle Crank, Eagle H-beam Rods, Ross Nitrous Pistons
580whp so far....
I will add tho' that a rotating assembly does not make HP, it only gives you the ability to make power without breaking.
The HP parts
AFR 227's
Edelbrock Single plane
246/254 .613/.590 112 HR
and a little N2O

its not the stroker part thats making the power, its the top end really. If you have a 383 with stock heads cam and intake, its really not going to be that much different from a stock 350. Like has been said, the 383 helps a bit with FI applications, and is really only made to support the power that the heads/cam/power adders will make.

I only make 375 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno...Bottom end consists of Lunati crank, Oliver billet steel 5.85" rods, and JE pistons...13 years of racing street driving on the bottom end...Dont get too bogged down with dyno numbers...The times/mph in my sig would suggest higher dyno numbers...Dynos are for tuning...

597 rwhp.
Eagle crank and rods and JE Pistons. Some people tell me it's kind of low considering I'm running 16 lbs of boost.
Weight = 3800 lbs
I agree with ABA383. Don't worry too much about your dyno #'s. Trap speed is a good indicator of HP. My old Z28 was probably the lowest dyno'ing LS1 in history, making 297 at the wheels with a lid, MAF, and catback. I was still able to outrun my buddy who dyno'ed at 340 rwhp.
My car traps at 125 mph.
