Default LS1 Chevelle

Ran at Infineon Raceway.

71 Chevelle weight in at 3600 lbs
4.11:1 12 bolt posi rear
Stock 99 LS1 out of a Z28, no smog (Air/EGR)
LS6 Intake
Ported and Polished Throttle Body
Edelbrock Long Tube Headers
2 1/2" w/H pipe with Flowmasters
T56 (a Viper T56) 6 sp
275x45x17 Sumitomo's

all else stock

13.88 @ 101mph
60' 2.24

Had to idle off the line, cause if I dumped the clutch at anything higher that 1500 it would just break loose the tires all the way to 2nd and then break loose on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.

Needs a tune bad !.. feel like it was pinging on the top end and had to keep the shift points between 5700 and 5900, might be running lean and setting off the Knock sensors (ran on pump 91). I think I am leaving a lot on the table due to the tune. Low and Mid seem to run ok, but anything above 5k and WOT just didn't really pull hard enough.

Started with 14.10, 13.93 and then the 13.88. Had to stop cause the power steering was acting up and I needed to drive home.

I guess this is not bad for a street car. Considering F-Body are a few hundred lbs lighter and running about the same time for stockers with the same mods.

Guess I will just have to get a tune and some sticky tires next.

Sounds like you should have some more MPH. I would have the tune checked out.
