Default tranny upgrade

looking to make my transmission stronger and more durable...the nitrous is starting to take its toll on it...anyone do any major transmission upgrades besides GXPJAY..i already have a zzp shift kit that ive had on the car basically since ive had it and the tranny has just about 25000 miles on it. thanks for any feedback

Sadly, a shift kit isn't going to help all that much to prolong it's lift. Sure, it'll keep it from doing the factory slipping into gear, but you need better internals. Try bulkpart.com

You might have to use many of the same parts that GXPJAY has used if you want to continue to spray. How do you like that shift kit tho? Also what firmness do you have it in? How much it cost for you to install?

many sites have upgraded trannies. or do you want someone local to rebuild it with new parts?

Have you electronically upped the fluid pressure in the transmission before gassing the engine? Because if you didn't that would've been the thing to do in conjunction. obvoiulsy I don't know how its shifting but if its taking longer to shift, then you may've just glazed the clutches and upping the pressure should help and in time resolve the problem.

Maybe you should contact ZZperformance. They have a lot of parts to upgrade your tranmisson to make it stronger. Also what firmness do you have in?
