Default Patriot Head ETs

Well I finally made it out to the track tonight to test out my new Patriot 5.3 heads...I ran my car about a month ago and it ran 11.8xs every pass...Now the only change that has been made to the car since then was the addition of the heads.Weather wasnt to good tonight but could have been worse i guess..I was soaked from bolting up ths slicks so it was pretty hot...All the times tonight were within a tenth so the car was pretty consistent...Only gremlin i had in the car was the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift...The car has most boltons and a ST3500,comp 224 568 cam, with some macs...this is with no tuning also...

rt .5272
60 1.624
1/8 7.302
mph 93.69
1/4 11.48
117.83

I feel good about where the car is at right now...I still need to bolt up my mezirie water pump and yella terras... tuning might net me some ET and weather will sure as hell help...I'll be throwing in a X1 cam pretty soon also...Do you guys think tens will be cake or what? Im not sure...I think it will be close...

Nice times man. I was hoping to get my PP LQ9 heads on this season and get some times before winter but it`s not looking good. I`ll have a little bit bigger cam but if I can get close to your ET`s I`ll be happy. Way to go dude!

you rrn the 11.64 before with cam only right? the heads are helpin alot on topend since your 60 was worse but you still ran a better ET and MPH.

i think she's gonna see some 11.2-3's for sure this fall! Thats right up to par with every H/C car out there

congrats and good luck

Nice run

Now you just have to get the 60 ft back into the 1.58 range like your cam only pass

n/a 11.64 114mph 1.58 60ft

And enjoy the colder weather thats coming and low 11`s should be no problem. Keep us updated.

Congrats

Jeremy

my car ran 11.64 cam only back in january so i didnt want to use that ET to compare to since the weather was so different...but a month ago i ran a 11.81 @ 114 with a 1.64 so the heads netted me .33 et and 3 mph...

Damn nice numbers, I gott hit up the track sometime with my new TEA setup, but I allways seem to pull horrible numbers, I will probably end up running like a 14second quarter, (im a horrible driver), i couldnt shift to save my life......

i agree... most cam only cars are gonna be in the 11.7-8 range for sure. So you picked up a good 3tenths

not bad.. everyone was bench racing dynos to much. Now we have some ET's

I had exactly the same gain .33 et and 3 mph with a little worse 60 foot time. With no other changes to the car.
