Yet another new best! 11.53 @ 116!
My previous best was 11.72 @ 115 on a 1.60'. Well I shattered that on Saturday. Temp was in the fifties and obviously the DA was excellent since I changed nothing and gained two tenths and over 1 MPH. I was hooking all day with 1.5x 60's and lifting the front tires 2-6 inches each launch. The best run out of eleven passes was:
60'-----1.550
330----4.677
1/8----7.323
MPH---92.87
1000---9.604
1/4----11.533
MPH---116.77
Best kills were against an 07 Shelby Cobra, C5 Vette and a fellow LS1 fbody. I also had two losses one of which I expected and the other that caught me by surprise. The one I expected was a full blown drag race car with huge slicks, roll bar and a thousand sponsor sticker. Jegs, TCI, ect. He ran a 11.0 @ 121 which was actually slower then I expected him to go.
The other was a third generation Formula. Looked like mid 80's and I didn't see a bar so I thought this would be an easy kill. I beat him on the tree (.500 is a perfect light and I had a .562 to his .733) and out sixtied him 1.60 to his 1.82. I never looked back so imagine my surprise when he goes by me just path the eigth. At the finish it was him by a car.
I ran 11.6 @ 115 to his 11.3 @ 124. Oh well, at least it was to a fellow Formula and not an Import
Awesome race. Those are always the most fun for me whether I win or lose. With no money or points on the line I would rather lose by a fender then win by multiple bus lengths. But that's just me.

About 3 in the afternoon is when the DA hit its best. I ran a couple of 11.5's and trapped well over 116 between 3-4 PM. Too bad you and Mike didn't go. Well we have one TnT day left for the season next Sunday. I talked to John P yesterday and we plan to go.
Last chance for a new best! Although I am more then happy with 11.53 @ 116. Thanks guys for the kind words
