Default No O2 sensors!

Yes the title reads right, no o2 sensors. I bought my car from some *** who evidently didn't know what he was doing and now I'm going over the car trying to fix his screw ups. Exactly how shitty will my car run, and what will be effected if there are no o2 sensors? And yes, I plan on getting the front 2 on ASAP as soon as I track down the wire for it because I don't even see reminents of where the wire went. Also, were can I get a decently priced OBDI scantool so I don't have to pay 80 bucks a pop for a diagnostic runs?

Sounds like the car has a SD open loop tune in it that doesn't require o2 sensors to run properly when tuned.

cheers

More info on the car, IE: year, any mods, etc.. would be very helpful if you want help from the guys here. Add a signature with this stuff so we know from now on.

Well here's the rundown: It's a 93 Z28 A4 with the GU5 3.23 gears, I had the Hypercrap chip on it, needless to say it's being returned and I'm getting one from PCMforless. I've got BBK shorties on it (they came on the car when I bought it and I'm switching to Pacesetters) Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back with the full header to cat custom done. Moroso CAI, Vortech ceramic coated elbow. B&M Shift kit. Monster Transmission Cooler and T.V. cable and SVO 24#'s. Stupid **** on it now but when I come back from the desert I'm dropping in a forged bottom end 383 with a custom fully built trans and a beefed up rear with the suspension to match.

We'll replace those O2's (should only be 2 of em in the 93') and let us know what happens.

Yes you only have the two front sensors, Though something has had to been changed if it is throwing heated o2 sensor codes, Are you sure the computer has never been swaped?

The computer I have is a Delco replacement computer. I'm pretty sure I have single wire o2's but I'm having a hard time locating them. I think I found the one on the passenger side, it has a single black wire and a pretty thin connector but, on the driver's side the only thing that looks like one is a cut single black wire that's coming from a wiring harness coming from the trans. I thought it was a ground wire but I don't see anything else that looks like it's been cut back and I dont see the connector. Wiring harness diagrams aren't helping either. This royally sucks.
