I still cant decide what cam to get I want lope but not a ton of it.Im going to stay with stock heads I only drive the car to the track and shows.I want a cam that has power.What of the two would you go with or you know a better cam to get Im only going to spray it every now or then.Ive talked to a lot of people and they say go TR230 111lobe need some help

with all the info i've gathered and read i'd go with the TR224 in your case with a 112 or 114 lsa.

you'll need a hell of a tune to get the tr230 to driveablity standards with your a4.

check on the 4th and 5th page to hear clips of both the 230 and the 224 on various exhausts. the 111 of the 230 lopes HARD.

myself i went with the 230 which is actually going in this week :woot:, its a little bit bigger then i had planned but i got a great deal so oh well.

I have the TR230 & I love it. Installed it along with heads, fired up the car and it idled right off the bat. Then again I'm in an m6, so I don't know how much tuning you'd need in an auto.

Go with the TR224 114 for your A4. If you had an M6 and don't have to pass emissions, the TR230 111 would be great.

I dont have to pass emissions.I got an ok tuner he has never done a cam like mine but cant wait to start toying with it im getting a really got price 250.00 brand new on the 230

you already got a 3500 stall, so thats good. most of the a4 guys with big cams i've see go with the 4k stall though.

Go with the 230. I just had to drill my throttle body and mine idles fine in my A4. My convertor definitely needs to be loosened up.
