Default Best cam for stock head 100-125 shot

I'm looking at a doing a cam swap. But I will be spaying a 100 to 125 wet shot on top of the cam. Which cam works best with the spray? Is there anyone out there running this set up? I also want this cam to put down some decent power NA also. Any ideas?

From what I've read any cam will respond well to nitrous. I guess it all depends on how big you want to go and how much you want to put down N/A. I am going to do the same set up myself but am personally going with the TR230 reverse split cam. Try doing a search under the nitrous section to see what others have picked as there cam for spray.

Any cam should work pretty well with spray.

It just depends on what you want. Is your car a daily driver?

I agree with those guys, from what I read you don't need a custom cam til you're wanting the big shots..

Any cam should be fine just depends how much power you want to get. Any shot over a 150 will need a custom cam.

Yup, just like everyone else said...choose your cam based on the NA goals you set out. With that size shot, it really won't matter too much on cam profile. Try giving any one of the many sponsors on here that sell cams a call...Texas Speed, Tick, Rapid, TTP, Cartek, and Thunder all come to mind. Thanks.

Agreed.....up to 200 there will be very little benefit to a "nitrous" cam. Build the car the way you want it NA, then add the bottle for a little extra kick.

Cool thanks for the input. I didn't know if it mattered or not. I guess the nitrous is just a cherry on top.

Give us a call if we can help with your cams election. Like they said, under 200hp or so of the juice, you aren't going to notice any difference. We offer camshafts at very competitive prices and can help you pick the cam you'll be happy with driving every day and at the track

No problem. Call Matt@TSP above. He'll get you all settled with a cam.

You need to check on the mph from NA to N2O and see the difference. My T-rex cam absolutely loves a 150 shot. I went from 117 mph to 131. However, my 150 shot actually gave me more than 150 extra ponies and torque.

I made 540 to the wheels with my ms3 on a 150 shot. Call Matt for sure.
