Could be the fuel injectors? Do you have the engine cover on?

I only got the clicking noise when i first start my engine and it was cold outside. "valve train noise" . Do your self a favor and get the loudest exhaust you can you'll never ask yourself again "what is that noise". I turned my exhaust off one time and was hearing weird things and i was like **** it and turned the exhaust back on lol

I think I know the sound you're talking about. A fast ticking/clicking, maybe 3ticks a second? And it's REALLY low - quiet enough where revving the engine the tiniest amount drowns it out? I can't even tell if the ticking varies with engine RPM because as soon as the engine leaves idle speed the noise is drowned out. I don't think it's valvetrain noise, it almost sounds like the A/C compressor or something but when I popped the hood and listened under there I couldn't hear it... I'm 99 percent sure my car has always made that noise.

Yeah thats exactly how it is, any revving completely drowns it out. Just kind of wondered if it was normal or not
