I had to drive only a couple miles once in my 305 TPI 87 TA with only a hair more than a dusting of snow. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. And my tires were almost new. Posi had my all over the road...hills were impossible. Then there was trying to get up my driveway.... Ide NEVER try to drive my car now that its swapped and what not. Not saying I couldnt...but I just wont try it again. haha.

Drove my LS1 Z28 in the snow once, a very light dusting at that ( like just a few flakes lol! ). It wanted to go ALL OVER the place.

It snows here, but they don't use salt. They mostly use a high grit sand. Gives my car a crazy two-tone look after the snows...

Not hard dude. Did you not hear about the major ice storm we got blasted with last year. My modded 6-speed made it around just fine. Matter of fact I went past several all wheel drive cars in ditches.

Driving in snow/sleet/ice isn't hard. People who can't drive in that weather make it hard on themselves. And no I don't run studded tires or snow only tires. I run KDWS tires on the rear in the winter. If I can get outta my driveway I can get around anywhere I need to go, if I can't get out then I stay home & take a day off work.

I live out in the sticks outside town, so there are never sand/salt truck on our roads or plows. We fend for ourselves. Luckily before my uncle was killed I spent enough time with him he taught me how to drive a rear wheel drive car in very bad weather conditions. We both shared the enjoyment of goin out when others were scared & driving around. Hell even playing in it. If you know whats goin on & how to control the weight of your car it's not hard.

All you need is some weight in the back, a set of 16" wheels with good snows.

People think becuase they have good tread on their all season M+S tires they are fit for the job. They aren't, and anyone up here in the northeast knows that.

Nothing is better than driving in the snow.

That M5 took a damn good hit, but I bet the people walked away with their lives

i dont know what kind of snow you guys are driving your f-body's in but where im from you cant even get the damn thing out of the garage without getting it stuck, its skill up until a certain point, after that point it doesnt really matter hwo good of a driver you are, you simply wont be able to handle the car

For the record I don't drive mine, as it's a weekend only car.

But I do drive many a RWD passenger car. No need for all wheel drive unless your up in the mountains dealing with 1.5'+ unplowed roads
