Default tensioner issues

I might have already accidently posted this (sorry- I'm new to this) but...Over this weekend I installelled an LS6 intake and 1.85 rockers. My car already had brand new exhaust: Hooker headers, high flow y-pipe and Borla exhaust and 4.10 in the rear. Is tensioner failure common with power-adders on the LS1??... or is mine a rare problem? Any help with this and how to solve it would be appreciated. thanks.

Dude I had the same problem as soon as I installed my mods.. I pretty much stretched the belt. I purchased a Katech Belt Tensioner along with a new belt. No slip..

The factory tensioner vibrates when you smack the throttle and will cause the belt to move forward and off the tensioner pulley.
I got the Katech tensioner as mentioned by VINCE, problem is gone. The Katech tensioner has no spring so it's just rock solid.
