centering, ford 9 inch with adj. suspention

Default centering, ford 9 inch with adj. suspention

Can anybody point me in the right direction or explain to me how to center my rear axle with my lower control arm front to back and how to center the rearend with the panhard bar. I can't for the life of me get it, as many time as i measure it still end up wrong and pulls to the right. i want to get this right and was wondering if anybody could point me to a post or explain it to me. Thanks

To center side to side you have to have an adjustable panhard rod. The rod has an adjuster that you turn to shorten or lengthen. Just masure off your frame rails or your fenders and move it until it's centered.

For front to back you need adjustable LCAs. Same thing there with the adjuster. This is a bit trickier as you have to work each side separately--but not hard at all. Just measure the spacing in your wheel openings.

I had problems with my Moser 9" sitting ackward in the rear as well.

Takes very little time, and a measuring tape.
Car up, adjust, lower car, measure. After doing it a few times, you will get used to how much each turn of the adjustable LCA moves the rear.

The brackets on the 9"'s are not in the exact spot as the factory ones. Its easy to get things corrected. If you want you can call us and we can explain the best and easiest way to do it.
