Default What's the secret to installing PBR piston dust boots

I'm re-assembling my calipers after having them powdercoated. I can't get the boots on. What am I doing wrong? I heard it's a simple operation...but I've just spent an hour TRYING to get one boot on. Is there a certain method? I can't get the lip to fit down in the groove, there just isn't enough room. I even tried soaping up the lip and using a small screwdriver to push it in.

I'm not too sure if you're using this method, however it has always worked for me.

I've heard of parts not fitting back together after powdercoating...you may need to shave the powdercoat off in that area.
