Edelbrock carburetor manifold kit feedback???

Edelbrock carburetor manifold kit feedback??? I'm pretty new to this site, and have been looking around quite a bit in the forums. I have noticed some bad feedback regarding the Edelbrock "kit". Problem is that having already purchased and installed the set-up, I'm wondering if I made a mistake. The vehicle is a ways from being started, so I was wondering if anybody here has used the kit and liked it. Although a few of you recommended an actual MSD box rather than the one made by MSD for Edelbrock, would the one included in the kit be a bad choice to keep on the car? I'm on a super tight budget, and if the Edelbrock part is acceptable on a mild performance daily driver, I'd rather not buy it twice.
