Default L92 F-body install words of wisdom?

Ok, so I'm pretty close to having an L92 427 built for my 2002 Z28. I've done some research on this forum and found some good info.

This will be my first engine swap. It seems fairly straightforward, mechanically a direct bolt-in. However, I will be starting with a longblock and finishing it myself.

Given that I'm a novice to this, for any of you that have done this swap are there any pointers you can share... things that you would have liked to have known on the front end? Even better, do any step by step instructions for the swap exist?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I want to have as good of an idea of what I'm getting myself into on the front end.

Well one thing is you're going to have to get a throttle cable bracket since the L92's don't have one. SLP makes a nice one and I have it on my car.

Cool, I've got that one on my list.

Any particular unforeseen problems other than that?

We have one of these swaps done in one of our test cars. It turned out really nice.

depending on the intake u use, on a l76 intake a holley t/b comes with a bracket so no need to custom make anything just bolt on and go
