Past rumors said they planned to kill both cars, guess not. :)

I wish the Sky wasn't designed for midgets because i'd really love one.

Neither are going to live for a second generation.

How much of a giant are you? I have an 09 Manual Solstice for my daily driver and I fit just fine with my 6'3" 220lbs.

The G8 should have been an Impala or something and made close to home for around 25k. And...it should have been a Chevy.

I'm 6'0" 170lb and I don't fit in the Sky/Solstice. I have about a quarter inch between the bottom of the steering wheel and my legs, and the wheel was as high as it would go. If there was a height adjustment for the seat, then I couldn't find it. Ironically, I fit in a Miata and S2000 just fine.

And...it should have been a Chevy.I would bet that one might be able to get a G8 for around $25k right now (V8 model...the V6 will likely be able to be had for even less). It's a great car for $30k+...but for $25k  it's an absolute STEAL!

Whaaat? This makes no sense to me. I am 6'1" and 170lbs. I fit just fine into both cars. I have a friend with a Miata and when I'm cruising down the road, the dumb sun visor is right in my line of sight. You know you have to bend your knees to get into the car, right? The seat also slides back...the lever is under the front of the seat...

Yeah very weird...I am 6'2" 195lbs, and I don't really fit in an S2000 or Miata (I can get in, but I wouldn't want to drive for more than 5 mins or so), however I was able to fairly easily get myself into a comfortable position in the solstice.

If they discontinue the G8 it would be a horrible mistake. All GM needs to do is advertise! Market this shit against the Accord and Camry. RWD, more power and definitely looks better than the Camry.

Sweet! I can't wait to see what the G8 has to offer once I'm done with school.

I'm not your average 6'0". My legs are almost exactly 4 feet long. My dad, who is 5'9"-5'10"ish is taller than me when we're sitting down. I can get in and out relatively easily, but there was barely more than a quarter inch between my legs and the wheel. If the wheel went up just a tad bit more, I'd buy the Sky Redline as my next car in a heartbeat. Maybe there was a seat height adjustment that I couldn't find, but last time I was in one, there wasn't enough room to spin the wheel all the way without hitting my legs.

Agreed but had it been 25k when the economy was less homely...they would have sold.
