mixing vp 109 race gas with 91 gas questions

mixing vp 109 race gas with 91 gas questions (few questions on leaded fuel to) If you mixs 109 vp race gas with 91 gas in a 50/50 mix what octane will you have? Is it as simple as it will now be 100 octane race gas?
With a ls2 motor how much compression could u run on 100 octane gas?
So leaded fuel will only mess up cats and O2's right?

Yes, it would be 100 octane. If you're adding different parts, like 2 part race gas to one part pump just add them altogether and divide by 3 [109+109+91=309 divide by 3=103 octane gas] to get the average.
As far as how much compression that depends on alot of things, like your cam, timing,combustion chamber efficency, if you're talking about static or dynamic compression. I'm sure there's more knowlegable people on the subject and hopefully they'll chime in but surely you could go in the 11.5-12.0 range safely.

Ok so 5 gals of 116/5gals of 109/5gals of 91 should =105 octane right?
Im looking at a 10.1 motor cam guessing 238/240 at 50 115-116 CL. With 15 psi of boost or more. Im maxing the psi of the boost to the fuel i can run.

Yea, if I figured what you were saying....mixing all 3 that would be 105.33. But just to ask why would you mix the 116 and the 109 in there? Why not just use the 116? If you mixed 2 gal. of 116 to 1 gal. of 91 you'd have 107.66 ocatne. You'd still end up with 15 gallons but it would be higher octane. And the 116 [if it's VP] is designed for boost/nitrous.
