New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - 98 TA A4 problem

well im driving yesterday and i see smoke coming from the back of my car, i get off the highway and my rpms are shooting up with my car going nowere.... wen i open the hood theirs tranny fluid everywere... can any1 tell me wat could it be?

im no rocket scientist but it sounds like your tranny took a dump

Tranny line,dip stick.Clean the motor after you refill the tranny and find the leak.

If you were revving and not going anywhere it sounds like your clutches burned up causing tranny to overheat and puke fluid.....

If you are LUCKY it is just a leaky line or tranny cooler.

All sounds right to me. Find where the fluid came from.

Sounds like a Line come loose..I've blown them up and never had any Fluid come out anywhere..
