Default Best place to get an ls2 dropout

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to get started on a project and have narrowed it down to an ls2/t56 for my drivetrain. I'm going to go through the engine swap process and get it smog legal for California. I need all the accessories and everything on the engine. I'm looking to do a stock or slightly modified swap. The l92 heads and l76 intake are probably going to be too sweet to pass up...

Anyways, the most important thing is that the wiring harness, computer, and all accessories (or most of that stuff) is included.

First of all, what is a fair price for all this? Like most deals, I've seen way cheap to way expensive.

I'm guessing a t56 tags on about $1000 to the package?

I've been looking on craigs list and ebay so far, but am a little worried about getting scammed on ebay. I've dealt with ebay plenty, but nothing of this scale. I'm watching an auction right now where the guy has 0 feedback...it could turn out to be a good deal if no one bids it up. Its hard to tell if he's just a new seller or someone trying to pull a fast one

Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Bump.

Any ideas? Or sponsors?

I need a ls2/6spd. Best I can tell, it will come from a large ebay seller.

I am ready to start my firdbird.
