Default 5.3L heads and pushrods question

I have some 5.3L heads (862 casting) and wondering if i need some shorter pushrods? Like 7.375" or 7.35"

I have OEM gaskets, rockers, etc....

Thanks in advance for the help

7.4s will work fine, especially if the heads are unmilled and you are running stock thickness gaskets. I would go with 7.35s if I were you though...just to keep correct geometry

Ok well im going to be doing a cam swap very soon and needed to know

somehow while i was changing head gaskets though i bent a pushrod....it was already slightly bent and when i turned the motor over with a wrench to get a piston to TDC it bent it even more. So i will have to get new pushrods anyway....still kind of weird though
